Toddler Gives Surprise Hug To Pizza Delivery Guy Who Was Grieving The Loss Of His Daughter

Do you believe in divine intervention? Did you ever experience something good and meaningful while going through an incredibly tough time like it were a miracle? I had my doubts about it, until now.

When Ryan Catterson, a pizza delivery guy, went to deliver an order to a particular home at night, he was surprised by a toddler chasing and hugging him. The little boy didn’t let him leave without a hug. The moment lasted just a few seconds but later it was revealed that it meant a great deal to Ryan Catterson because he was grieving the loss of his daughter who passed away recently, reports The Indian Express.

It started with the mother of the toddler thinking it was an adorable moment shared between the two. So, she dug through security footage which captured the moment and went on to post a video of the incident on social media.

As the video went viral, the delivery guy took notice and got in touch with the mother, reports Daily Mail. The mother went on to say:

“Little did we know what Cohen’s (the toddler) hug to this stranger would mean. We found out that Ryan unexpectedly lost his daughter recently, and that hug from Cohen was a little blessing from God. I believe in divine appointments and know that Ryan was the one to deliver our pizza for a reason.”

Saturday night, when we got our pizza (and ranch) delivered, Cohen ran out to hug the delivery guy and tried to give him a kiss, too! 😂 We thought it was so sweet and funny, then realized that our doorbell might have caught the interaction on camera, and it did!! In an interview, Ryan Catterson revealed that his 16-year-old daughter was suffering from mental health issues and that she passed away unexpectedly recently.

“It truly felt like my daughter and the universe came together, and gave me a hug of support that I really needed at that moment,” he said.

People on social media went on to pour their love on the duo. Many said that God had mysterious ways to help people in pain.

There is a saying which couldn’t be truer – “Always be kind to people. You never know what they are going through.”
