Tirupati Man Suffers Heart Attack After India’s Loss To Australia In WC Finals, Passes Away

The Cricket World Cup Final between India and Australia was heartbreaking for any Indian to watch. The way team India played in all of the other matches in the tournament proved that it was probably the best in the world and was unstoppable. But that’s until they came face to face with Australia and a very on-fire Travis Head in the finals. It’s not that India didn’t play well. It’s just that they lost to a better team.

However, the heartbreak was too much to handle for a man in Tirupati named Jyotish Kumar Yadav, who suffered a heart attack and passed away after watching the World Cup finals. Yadav was a software engineer working in Bengaluru who had returned home for Diwali. He was 35 years old.

According to News18, Yadav was watching the match with his friends and family. His friends revealed that he was stressed and anxious after India set a target of 240 after batting first. He sensed a bit of relief after Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets combined. But it was after Australia won the match that Yadav started complaining of experiencing chest pain and he collapsed.

He was hurriedly taken to Venkateshwara Ramnarain Ruia government hospital but was announced brought dead.

What’s even sadder is that Yadav was set to get married soon. What a tragic loss!
