Sushant Singh Rajput, after the mammoth success of ‘M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, should ideally be celebrating his box of win but, life is cruel that way! Not very long ago, the actor lost his chance to win the Star Screen award for best actor, to Amitabh Bachchan for ‘Pink’ and time is already on his face, reminding him of his biggest loss, his mother.
With a heavy heart, Sushant recently, took to Twitter to share an emotional message, marking his beloved mother’s death anniversary. He tweeted,

It’s been 11 years to the untimely demise of his mother but even time can’t heal certain wounds.
In an old interview to Filmfare, Sushant was also quoted saying how her absence affects his space and being.
“Now I’m close to everyone and I’m not close to anyone. Because of the loss I think this slight change has happened. I was very close to my mother and vice versa. I never thought there will be a day when she won’t be around. I was so emotionally and unconditionally attached to her and I remember I didn’t cry for six-seven days because I didn’t know what was happening. But something changed inside. Now there’s this feeling that I don’t want people to emotionally get attached to me. It’s a kind of survival technique.”
We can only hope that Sushant bounces back to his happy self soon and see the sea of appreciation people think he deserves. That’s what she would want him to do anyway. Hold yourself, Sushant. C’est la vie!
