Even if one tries, one cannot describe veteran actor Surekha Sikri’s acting career in a paragraph. Words will fall short. From the stern ‘Dadi Sa’ in ‘Balika Vadhu’ to her most recent performance in ‘Badhaai Ho’, she never failed to amaze us with her talent.
This is why today is an extremely sad day. Surekha Sikri passed away today after suffering a cardiac arrest, reports The Indian Express. She was 75 years old.
“Three-time national award-winning actress, Surekha Sikri has passed away following a cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the age of 75. She had been suffering from complications arising from a second brain stroke. She was surrounded by family and her caregivers. The family asks for privacy at this time. Om Sai Ram,” revealed her manager.
