A baby’s first words, first haircut and first steps are all important moments for any parent. Even the baby gets older there are birthdays, competitions in school and other achievements that are just as special. Any parent would want to capture and store these moments so that the child can look back at them when he/she is older.
Twitter user @Mellumjr recently shared the perfect (and easiest) way to do just that! Take a look.
When my son was born, i created an email address for him.
Every achievement and photo taken is sent to that email.
When he is old enough, he will get the password and will have all those memories.
Sharing this idea for those who may like it to do as well.

This idea is great because one doesn’t have to spend money on physical scrapbooks, get photos printed and also make space to store everything. As long as one doesn’t forget the password, there is also no chance of them getting lost. The best part is that the child will have a chronological account of his life’s most wonderful moments neatly documented.
Just like a digital scrapbook of memories! Isn’t this the cutest thing?
When this idea was shared, netizens were totally on board. Especially first-time parents.

I actually did that for my daughter years before I got pregnant. I would write to her about how I couldn’t wait to meet her some day. I sent pics of her ultrasounds and how excited I was. I emailed her while I was in labor, expressing my fear and excitement.

Indeed the internet is here to stay. Inheritance in the cloud.

Once you create an email and start sending emails of all the special times, the repository will just be a few clicks away. Scroll through the memories anyplace, anytime. Just make sure you don’t overdo it lest it feels like spam 😛
