People Trying Hard To Score Rangoli Stamps Vent Frustration By Flooding Twitter With Memes

The festive season gets everyone excited, especially Diwali. Apart from all the ‘mithai’ hogging, dressing up and ‘Diya’ selfies; people regard the exchange of gifts between friends and family as the best part. Business houses also don’t miss this opportunity to make some quick cash by introducing Diwali sales and bonanzas to influence customers to buy their products or services. Google Pay (Gpay) was also one of those who came up with a special Diwali offer for its customers.

As their Diwali gift to the customers, the digital payment platform launched #StampsWaliDiwali in which they offered 50 lakh flower and rangoli stamps. The idea behind it is to collect all the five stamps to win a scratch card of Rs. 251 within the limited time frame.

Gpay users were hooked on to it until they realised it wasn’t easy to grab all five stamps. Hence, they started trading the #RangoliStamps online. Those who were lucky enough to grab all five stamps had a Happy Diwali while those who didn’t went on to vent out their frustrations by creating hilarious memes.
