The country yesterday lost the ‘Nightingale of India’, Lata Mangeshkar. The legendary singer was unwell for the past one month and was fighting for her life in Breach Candy hospital of Mumbai.

Several who’s who of the entertainment industry paid their tribute to the megastar whose last rites were conducted at Shivaji Park on Sunday (February 6) in Mumbai with full state honours. However, among them, a picture of Shah Rukh Khan doing a dua for her is being loved online.

In the clip that has now gone viral, SRK is seen raising his hands in dua in front of Lata Ji’s mortal remains, while his manager Pooja Dadlani could be seen folding her hands in pranaam, praying homage to the late singer. King Khan also paid a floral tribute to the celebrated singer and touched her feet after reciting the dua.
