This Photo Has A Big Python Hiding Somewhere, Are You Observant Enough To Locate It?

Everyone loves a good mystery. It is a great exercise for the brain and also lets us take a much-needed break from our mundane workdays. And what better place to find new ones every day than social media, right? A while back, people were puzzling over an unknown hand on Rishabh Pant’s left shoulder and on #WorldEmojiDay, Twitter was flooded with fun guessing games. Now, another one is taking the internet by storm and it involves a snake!

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, a reptile removal and relocation service provider in Queensland, Australia shared a photo of a woman’s sun lounge deck and asked people to “spot the snake” in it.

The picture left many flabbergasted as it looked like a normal lounged with cushions and a centre table. They couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary, much less a reptile crawling about. But others didn’t give up that easily and tried to decipher the mystery.

Some said it was hiding in the flora while others believed it was slithering under the furniture unnoticed.

Were you able to find the snake? If not, here’s the answer. It was a huge carpet python soaking up the sun behind the cushions.

According to the company,

“Carpet Pythons are the most common snakes we catch and don’t seem to be bothered by humans. They will often hang out in entertaining areas like this and won’t move even if people are around. Majority of other snakes will retreat to cover when they see someone nearby.”

While we enjoyed playing spot the snake, we sincerely hope that we never find such a creepy-crawly in our homes. That would be scary indeed.
