Sonam Kapoor’s Quirky Outfit With Text For The Ambani Wedding Is Slaying Fashion Goals!

The Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal wedding extravaganza has given us wedding outfit inspo to last a couple of wedding seasons! In fact, the sheer number of celeb weddings we’ve seen this year, no doubt, is going to serve as a major inspiration for the rest of us! While every star dazzled and every man, woman and child who attended the Ambani wedding looked like a million bucks, can we please talk about Sonam Kapoor’s amazing outfit?

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s middle name is fashionista. And she once again didn’t fail to live up to that when she turned up at Isha Ambani’s wedding in a gorgeous pink outfit.

Everything about her look screamed elegance, from the lovely colour of her lehenga, to those stunning jewels and her perfectly complementing hair. Not to mention, she had her dapper papa Anil Kapoor by her side, who just refuses to age BTW!

At first glance, the outfit looks like just another designer wear. Amazing and different from the usual ivory and gold outfits you’d see in weddings, but still the usual.

And then, BAM! You notice that there’s text on it! The outfit is a custom Anamika Khanna, personalised for Sonam with her name printed on it!

Trust the team of sisters Rhea Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor to kill it at the fashion game! The outfit is a fresh take on wedding wear, something you could totally wear to a friend’s or cousin’s shaadi! Best part? Everyone will know who you are because your name’s right there! Another thing, your sister won’t be stealing your outfit because it’s got your name on it!

If you ask me, that dress was indeed something absolutely unique! Remember when PM Narendra Modi wore the pinstriped suit with his name on it and it became quite the fashion statement? Many celebs have worn their names on their outfits or in jewellery, but this is probably the first time it’s part of a traditional wedding attire! Furthermore, it’s the ‘Everything is AK-OK’ text that seems to add that extra punch of quirk to it!
