“Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai” Is The Latest Fad That Has Taken Over The Internet!

If you want a message to go viral on the internet, you’d probably turn to one of Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. However, ever considered inscribing your message on a currency note? This guy certainly did.

Someone inscribed the words ‘Sonam Gupta bewafa hai’ onto a Rs 10 currency note a few years ago, and soon enough the world wanted to know who this woman was!

Recently, the same phrase appeared on a freshly printed Rs 2000 note and the internet just couldn’t resist turning ‘Sonam Gupta’ into a meme:
