The telly world, after Bollywood, is the most sought after space for stars. While most newbies treat it as a gateway to the movies, television has a niche and fan-following of its own. Shilpa, who seems to have moved ahead professionally, recently featured in an item song, Maro LineĀ from the upcoming Hindi film, ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi.’
Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi stars Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the lead. It also stars Vir Das and Payal Ghosh.

While I personally detest the idea of item songs and objectification of women to sell and promote movies, it is not my place to tell Shilpa how she should look and dress. You hear that trolls? It is not your place to shame a woman for her choices, will and consent.
