Shatrughan Sinha Slams Bollywood Lobbyists For Targeting Kangana, Says ‘She Belongs Here’

A few days back, Shatrughan Sinha had opened up about Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise and shed some light on the on-going nepotism debate. And now, the veteran actor has spoken in favor of Kangana Ranaut, who is actively involved in the fierce ‘outsider vs insider’ fight. Slamming the Bollywood lobby for targetting Kangana, he praised ‘Queen’ actor for reaching where she is without any support, reports Republic World.

Sinha, who has hardly met Kangana, said that people are speaking against her out of jealousy. He mentioned how a certain section in B-town gangs up against just a few talented ‘outsiders’. The actor, whose daughter Sonakshi Sinha was also targeted on social media, extended support for Kangana. He was quoted saying by HT,

“Most of the people I see, they speak against Kangana because from the inside they are very jealous of Kangana. Without our mercy, without our will, without joining our groups or without any blessings from us, this girl has gone too far and achieved so much without any push of ours. They are irritated and jealous of her success and bravery.”

Further, calling out people who threaten talented ‘outsiders’ to quit the industry he said, “Based on her own determination and commitment, based on her own confidence and her passion, she has progressed in life and the same way, our Sushant Singh Rajput was also rising. He was a big star and he had all the chances to become even a bigger star. It seems that the opportunities were crushed for him. Let me tell you, this industry is not your father’s estate. This belongs to everyone.”

The veteran actor also took a dig at Karan Johar’s chat show, “During our era, there was no ‘Koffee with Arjun’. These kinds of planned events are what cause controversies. As far as those who are being talked about at the moment are all members of our own society, but film industry doesn’t belong to one person that anyone can say, ‘Let’s boycott this person’ or ‘remove this person from the industry.’”

Well, the film industry surely doesn’t belong to anyone in particular and every individual should get an equal chance to prove their worth here. What do you think? Tell us!
