Shahid-Deepika- Ranveer Finally Speak About Bhansali And They’re Taking One For The Team!

Whatever transpired on the sets of ‘Padmavati’ recently, in my humble opinion, was a disgrace to our national fabric of integrity and tolerance. While I’m sure the ‘hate brigade’ will definitely have a bone to pick with me, I still stand by the fact that the show of ‘nationalism’ today is twisted beyond repair! And I’m not saying that India, as a democracy, never had problems but thanks to social media boom, there is hardly any line that binds us, anymore!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali–a man with national awards as his credentials–was beaten, assaulted and scared away from the sets of his own movie! And there are people who have the minds and hearts to justify the violence! Although the entire Bollywood fraternity came out to his support, the leads of his movie were mute. Until now!

Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally voiced their sentiments and grief and they deserve to be heard! 

 

Deepika was the first to express the break of heart, she has had after the unfortunate incident with Bhansali. She, who plays the role of ‘Padmavati’ herself, assured that there is no fact that has been distorted.

After that, Ranveer took no time in making himself heard and vouched the resentment he feels.

While Deepika and Ranveer expressed their loyalties towards the man of the hour, Shahid’s reaction only speaks of the respect he carries for Bhansali. That and incomprehensible rage!
