A sex doll named ‘Samantha’ that is ‘brainy’ and can ‘interact’ with humans has gone on sale for £3,500 in an adult shop named ‘Vibez’ in UK.
The doll can not only ‘talk’ but also switch to a ‘safe-family mode’ where she will be able to have a healthy interaction with children as well. While talking to Mirror, here is what Vibez owner Tracey Whitmore revealed about it,
“Sex dolls have always been a problem in terms of getting a realistic one. You have your blow-up ones that look comical and cost between £20 ($26) and £100 ($134).
Samantha has different personalities and she has a family mode where she will be able to give facts about various things and talk about philosophy.”
She furthermore even denied of any chances of Samantha accidentally going into a ‘sex mode’ and making things unsafe for small kids.
In fact, the inventor Arran Lee Squire himself has the doll introduced to his 3-year-old kid, who apparently loves Samantha’s presence.Â
The artificial intelligence placed in the doll not only makes her switch to a ‘family mode’ but also helps her learn new things from humans. Yes, this bot is very dynamic that ways. Tracey further to added to it,
“The artificial intelligence stuff is mind-blowing. She has a brain and can interact with you and even learns from people.”
The company has reportedly sold 30 dolls worldwide and is progressing towards making a male model as well. Adding more light to their consumer nature, here is what Tracey said further.
 “The people who buy these dolls are usually lonely people that are looking for companionship and something for a sexual purpose. She appeals to couples who might want to experiment but don’t want the jealousy element.”
While right now Samantha is the only doll available for sale, more can be created and delivered in a period of six weeks.
The doll along with Arren was also interviewed by Hollywood show ‘This Morning.’ In the conversation, the doll not only replied to an innocent ‘I love you’ by the host with an ‘I love you too’ but also revealed some interesting facts about herself.
