The best part about the winter season is all the white, magical snow. And where there’s snow there has to be skiing. A desi couple Divya and Madhu based in Minnesota, USA, recently decided to hit the slopes at Welch Village but with a twist – instead of traditional ski gear they wore a saree and dhoti!
“We needed to do something really crazy today to distract ourselves!” they wrote.
They’re such rockstars and everyone agrees.
And one of the three people who inspired them to ski in Indian wear was fashion blogger Masoom Minawala Mehta. Last month, she shared a video of herself skiing in a saree in Switzerland.
