Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai IS RETURNING.
YES, IT’S OFFICIAL!
The producer of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, JD Majethia has finally revealed the show is coming back as a web series and not on television.
Yesterday, we told you that the show MIGHT mark its return and that got everyone exhilarated beyond the limits.
That’s right… The reunion gave us the much-awaited news and we couldn’t be happier. After all, we have been missed them for more than a decade!
JD had this to say:
We have received so much support from fans online some of whom have even volunteered to finance the show if it returns. During the discussion, we agreed that none of us wanted a never-ending TV series but a shorter term online was a good idea.
Once I return from my vacation, I will finalize the script and we will move on from there.
All the Sarabhai characters are ebullient about this return and given the massive yet monumental fan following, they understand that they have to live up to their expectations (which they will, without a shadow of doubt!)
Ratna Pathak Shah who plays Maya Sarabhai echoed the above sentiments and said this:
I would love to play Maya, but being an iconic show the quality has to be better than the earlier series.
After hearing this news, I am feeling two things.
a. I AM EXCITED AF!
b. Okay, I am so FREAKING EXCITED that I can’t calm down my nerves. 😀
