And since she has been flooded with love and affection from across the globe, the actor, who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil film industries, decided to share a very personal detail of her life with the audience. The actor took to social media and opened up about being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition.

Along with a picture of her from behind, while taking a drip in what seems like her studio, she also penned a heartfelt note that read:

“Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis.”

According to the Times Of India, “Myositis is a rare condition that causes muscles to become weak, painful and tired. The word myositis simply refers to inflammation in muscles. When muscles are inflamed, they may be swollen and susceptible to pain.”

She added that she wanted to share this information after it had gone into remission but it’s taking longer than expected.

But despite thinking that she can’t handle one more of this, she managed to overcome it, moving a step closer to recovery.

“I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days, physically and emotionally. And even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.”
