Aussie Skies Spell ‘Wash Hands’ & Rwanda Installs Special Wash Basins To Contain COVID-19 Outbreak

Coronavirus outbreak is bringing caution and creativity in humans around the world. From making memes on COVID-19 out of things like Kajol offering SRK a hand sanitizer in DDLJ’s iconic train sequence to a teacher stamping students’ hands so that they wash them frequently, people are going far and beyond to spread awareness about the novel coronavirus.

In the latest one, Australia painted the skies with a message for its residents. The video of the same was shared on Twitter. Have a look:

Australia has by far confirmed around 200 cases of coronavirus with three deaths, reports ABC. And, washing hands regularly is one of the simplest and effective ways to curb the deadly virus. So, they wrote a message for people living in Sydney and urged them to wash hands frequently, reports BBC.

On the other hand, Rwanda went a step further by installing portable wash basins across its cities to promote hygiene. They have installed the washbasins at bus stops for commuters, reports IE. Every passenger is supposed to wash their hands before boarding the bus.

Moreover, sinks and hand sanitizers have been placed at public places like churches, banks, shops in the Rwandan capital Kigali to ensure public hygiene. Also, to lower the chances of infection, the washbasins installed have been equipped with foot pedals to operate the tap.

The idea has already got a thumbs up from the people around the world.
