You should consider yourself lucky if you have a best friend who takes care of you, gives you proper advice, and helps you in time of need. Because most of us have grown up with besties who’d rather prank us till we cry, call us words we have never heard of, and spend all our pocket money before we could even count it!
However, the kind of best friends we knew that exist has nothing in common with Hollywood super-rich BFFs. Friends in the hot-shot entertainment business can sometimes go a little overboard when it comes to gifts. Actually, calling it a “little overboard” may be an understatement!
Robert Downey Jr recently gifted Avengers BFF Chris Evans a ‘Captain America’ customised car and guess how much it cost? A whopping 275K USD (2 crores INR approx).
Iron Man is apparently as lavish and fancy in real life as his character in the movies!
The vintage 1976 Chevrolet Camaro features a steering wheel with the Captain America shield emblazoned on it.
According to sources, Downey kept on pointing at cars across the street asking Evans if he liked them.
“In my head I’m like, ‘Is this guy going to give me a car? There’s no way he’s going to do this.’ And then sure enough, I showed up on set one day and it was there,” said Chris Evans.

CNBC revealed that in addition to the steering wheel, the car also features a plaque dubbing the car a “Steve Rogers’ Special Edition”.
