RGV’s Next Ambitious Project Will Be Shot In 5 Countries With A Budget Of 340 Crores. WOAH!

Ram Gopal Varma needs no introduction. He is one of those filmmakers in India who is not afraid of taking chances and experimenting across various genres to produce impeccable contemporary cinema, like ‘Rangeela’, ‘Satya’, ‘Sarkar’ and a dramatic documentary like ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ .

In a series of tweets, he has this time announced that his first international film would have a budget of a whooping Rs 340 Crore and would be called ‘Nuclear’.

According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Varma said,

“Yes it’s going to be much more costlier than the most expensive film ever made in India and the reason for that is because the subject matter truly demands that it is filmed on a scale never before seen”.

The project would start after Varma completes ‘Sarkar 3’ which stars Amitabh Bachhan, Yami Gautam and Jackie Shroff.

The film would deal with issues like terrorism and the consequences of a nuclear weapon getting into the wrong hands.

Varma also emphasised on how the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear attacks had long ranging consequences. If a similar attack takes place now on a city like Mumbai, it is enough to trigger another World War.

The plot sure looks intriguing, and a healthy budget would definitely help in increasing the magnificence of the movie. Let’s hope we get a cinematic masterpiece from him this time.
