All of us are aware of talented singer Ranu Mondal‘s incredible journey from Ranaghat railway station (West Bengal) to a Bollywood recording studio. It all started when an engineering student named Atindra Chakraborty recorded her singing Lata Ji’s “Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai” and posted the video on Facebook.
Soon, her voice mesmerised music lovers all over the country and she was asked to grace the stage of reality show ‘Superstar Singer’. And then opportunity knocked on her door, changing the entire course of her life.

Himesh Reshammiya (one of the judges on the show) invited her to sing a song called “Teri Meri Kahani” for his upcoming project “Happy Hardy and Heer” thus cementing her place in the professional music business. Impressed by the soulful quality of her voice, he also roped her in for a second song and we couldn’t be happier.
