‘Unicorn Doggo’ Born With A Tail On Its Forehead Gets Named ‘Narwhal The Furry Unicorn’

Most of us love dogs, especially puppies who melt our hearts with their cute tail-wagging and ‘puppy face’, quite literally. Well even if you are not fond of dogs, this special fluffy creature who was recently rescued by a pet foundation is going to make you cry tears of joy.

Mac’s Mission in Jackson, Missouri, US found a tawny pup on the streets that was probably abandoned by his owners. This cute doggo who was found along with with other older dogs a has a tail growing on his forehead, revealed Mirror. The abandoned pup’s forehead tail had many thinking he looks like a unicorn-dog.

The foundation was thrilled to have rescued him and other dogs from the freezing cold. They posted his pictures requesting people to donate to the strays. The foundation also named the doggo ‘Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn.’ They named him Narwhal owing to his likeness to the (Narwhal) toothed whale famous for it’s massive “tusk”.

But if you are thinking that his extra unicorn tail might bother him, well, the foundation got him diagnosed and found nothing else, but a leg injury that’s currently bothering him.

The million-dollar question, does the tail wag? Well, not really. Sharing an update about his health the foundation wrote on their IG page:

“The extra tail is not connected to anything and has no real use other than making him the COOLEST PUPPY EVER!”

Always follow the directions people!” This is a true experience of having “extra parts” during assembly. Dr. Heuring said there is no real reason at this time for the unicorn tail to be removed (and we all wish it wagged)!! Pretty sure the staff at Cape Small also gushed all over this little nugget! The unicorn face tail does not bother Narwhal and he never slows down just like any normal puppy. He seems completely healthy other than some usual puppy worms he got meds for. He is not available for adoption immediately as we want him to grow a bit more and truly make sure the tail doesn’t become a bother or problem. Right now he is pretty much the most unique amazing example of what we do here and we are so thankful to have the chance to be part of his journey. Thank you everyone for helping us help them! His doctor also suggested not to remove his tail. “Dr Heuring said there is no real reason at this time for the unicorn tail to be removed (and we all wish it wagged)!! Pretty sure the staff at Cape Small also gushed all over this little nugget!

However, the special- doggo isn’t up for adoption yet as the rescuers want him to grow up a little and make sure that the extra tail isn’t bothering him.
