The moment a celeb duo even starts showing signs of dating each other, the fandom universe goes crazy cooking up cute little nicknames for them. Virat and Anushka becoming Virushka for example. I get it, it’s adorable and an easier way of referring to them. But sometimes even though the couple themselves may get along like cookies and milk, the lovechild of their names could be less than ideal.
When Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas first started making appearances together, the tradition repeated itself and fans started coming up with a number of permutations of their names to officiate as their nickname.
And over time, one grew in popularity and #NickYanka more or less took the crown. However, turns out Priyanka has another one in mind.
When dulha-to-be, Nick Jonas made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy wasted no time beating around the bush.
Getting straight to the topic of their recent Roka ceremony, Jimmy asked him how they’d met and just look at Nick getting all blushy talking about it:
Also, guess who else was present at the set, cheering on her beau? With the applause and love pouring in, Nick pointed out PC watching from the sidelines:
But let’s get to the point. Getting both of them on set at the same time, Jimmy popped the question about their celebrity nickname.
