“My Decisions Are Kadak Just Like My Chai.” Assures PM Modi Addressing A Crowd In Gazipur

The demonetisation initiative by PM Modi in order to combat black money in the economy was greeted with mixed reactions. In the aftermath of the move, queues outside banks branches are just getting longer, bank staff are overburdened with withdrawal requests and ATMs are running out of cash.

PM Modi, while addressing a huge crowd in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, delivered a very hard hitting speech urging the crowd to support him in his fight against black money.

“I will never let anyone loot the money that belongs to the poor of India…Yes, those against me are strong people. But, I will not be scared of them.”

He asked for the crowd’s blessing and vowed to carry on the fight with integrity.

PM Modi was apologetic about the inconvenience that his radical plan has caused for the common man.

“(I am) pained by the inconvenience caused and that is why I am working tirelessly to help people overcome this.”

However, PM Modi assured the citizens that he was still firm on his decision, drawing a chai analogy about the same.

“My decision is like Kadak Chai that I used to make earlier in  my days as a chaiwala. The poor are loving it, while for rich it’s bad in taste.”

PM Modi continued to take a dig at the rich talking about their lack of sound sleep since the currency ban.

“After demonetisation, poor enjoying sound sleep, rich running from pillar to post to buy sleeping pills.”

PM Modi regretted the inconvenience the move has caused in the lives of the poor. However, he assured the people that his move would have long term benefits.
