It’s been almost 10 days since the country has been under strict lockdown. With silent and empty streets, the animals are probably wondering, “Where did all the humans go?”
Jokes apart, in recent times we saw how wild animals were hitting the streets again in different parts of India. Deers were spotted in Uttarakhand and olive turtles in Odisha.
Adding to the list, peacocks have been spotted in the streets of Mumbai, according to a report by India Today.
People on the internet, including Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, took to social media to upload pictures and videos of the gorgeous peacocks. Have a look:

Many in the comment section spoke about how animals are reclaiming their lost space and this is an indication that nature is healing itself.
Celebrating Mother Nature – simply shows how much into the forests we have trespassed! Prayers that we humans coexist in harmony with all of life 🙏😇🌳🌄🐿🐬

This picture is so touchy. It seems they were in #lockdown & after many years their #lockdown is finished. #nature always give peace. 🙏

The reality is that the nature that surrounds us is far more meaningful and far more valuable than the money that we chase and obsess over. If we appreciated nature the way we love money, we might just make the world a bit more peaceful… and beautiful.

This lockdown has shown us how much we had taken our wildlife for granted and that humans must learn to coexist with nature!
