Miss India 2016 Pankhuri Scores 97% In Her 12th Boards And Proves, ‘NOTHING Is Impossible!’

We hear stories of hard work and determination everyday. A few days back, we read the story of a 19-year-old boy, who is still battling cancer and scored 95% in his board exams! These stories give us not just hope and inspiration, they also make us understand not the value of marks, but the value of education.

Creating ripples again, is another story of grit that will be etched in golden words in the history books forever.

Do you remember Pankhuri Gidwani? The breath-taking beauty who we laid eyes on at the Femina Miss India Beauty Pageant 2016? Of course, you do! She went on to become the second runner’s up in the contest and won all our hearts, with the smile that speaks volumes.

Pankhuri was 18 when she participated in the contest and had to miss her 12th Board Exams in 2016. She gave her ICSE exams this year from La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow and frigging nailed it with 97.25%. Here’s is what she wrote in an FB post

97.25 it is! So there is something I would like all my friends and followers to know 🙂
I had missed my board examinations for participating in Miss India (at 18) and after winning Miss India 2nd Runners Up. I had to train for Miss Grand International and received the 25th position out of 80 countries.
After coming back from the pageant, I battled a number of hard situations, one of them was getting adjusted to studying again after a year of glamour I put my all into it, and this is the result I came forth with 🙂
So all the people out there who think that something they want is impossible to accomplish, whether it is academics, your dreams or the love you want, you can achieve it all, just have the grit, determination and a true heart to pursue it all.

Pankhuri has made her parents proud once again! Her beaming father, Deepak Gidwani spoke to Hindustan Times and expressed his thrill and also talked about Pankhuri’s future plans –

“It has been a thrilling journey for my daughter. It was important on her part to strike a balance between academics and her modelling career.

Pankhuri has scored 99 in history and wants to study performing arts or do a bachelor’s in Mass Media from Mumbai.”

Isn’t she amazing? Like she said, nothing is impossible to achieve in this world, if you give it your everything.

This is a striking example for little girls who think that there is only one thing that they can do. You can have it all, the best of both worlds. It takes a lot of effort, but it is not impossible.

Thank you Pankhuri, for not just preaching us, but leading us by example!
