Having been cursed with two left feet for life, I really envy people who can drop it like it’s hot. Though I do have killer skills in my imaginary world, which also houses unicorns and fairies btw, I CANNOT for the life of me dance. Okay, it’s kind of unfair to put the entire blame on my unsynchronised feet. The inherent lack of confidence that makes me want to evaporate away when in the spotlight, is also a co-culprit.
Hence, I am a huge fan of people who can let their unbridled inner Madhuri Dixit run free, irrespective of place and time. I’m still hoping the ‘Dancing Uncle’ Sanjeev Srivastava will someday consider making me his pupil.
While I may still be lightyears away from ever shaking my booty in public, one guy from Pakistan has no qualms whatsoever in doing so.
Meet Mehroz Baig. This young gentleman has been making some waves on the Internet with his latke jhatke after a video of him dancing to the song ‘Laung Laachi‘ went viral. He was filmed dancing his heart out to the popular song at the Karachi’s Dolmen Mall in the Clifton area.
Mehroz, who posted the video on Facebook, says that the dancing stunt in the middle of the crowded mall was a dare.
Since being shared on Sunday, the video has amassed over 90000 shares, 49000 likes and over 5.7 million views just on Facebook.
