With the lack of customers during the pandemic, sales of several roadside vendors across the country have dipped affecting their livelihood. Which is why several good samaritans on Twitter are helping them in whatever way possible. Earlier, people extended their support to 86-year-old Chhanga Baba selling bhelpuri in Faridabad and a couple serving chivda matki bhel in Pune.
Now, journalist Tavleen Singh Aroor has shared the location from where Prem Singh Ji sells pottery in Sector 27 Noida urging residents to shop for plant pots and other ceramic items from him.
Prem Singh is a potter selling his wares at the sector-27 main road, Noida. He blessed me with tears today after I bought some items.
I was his first customer in weeks he says. He has nice stuff!
