Nita Ambani Writes Heartfelt Poem For The Newly Engaged Lovebirds, Akash And Shloka

Step aside B-town, cause India’s most celebrated family has been taking over Page 3 recently. In a warm filmy romance, business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Shloka Mehta in Goa.

After popping the question and her accepting, the lovebirds with the full Ambani khandan visited the Siddhvinayak temple to seek divine blessings. And then in full richest-family-in-India-style, Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted a grand engagement party for the couple. Of course, it was one star-studded party!

According to Indian Express, both Akash and Shloka studied in Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Shloka is the daughter of Russell Mehta, the head of one of the country’s leading diamond companies, Rosy Blue Diamonds.

Nita Ambani, in a gesture to welcome the new bahu into their homes and lives, wrote a poem for the couple. She talks about their journey from childhood sweetheart days to now, when they stand tall together, ready to take on the world. Read A Story of Love here:
