Yesterday, India and Pakistan cricket teams knocked horns at the T20 Asia Cup. The match that was championed by the men in blue had several breathtaking and nail-biting moments. However, even though India won the match, there was one Pakistani player who managed to win the hearts of desis.

Naseem Shah fought hard, and till the end of the game for his country. The 19-year-old debutant got everyone worried after he bowled at the speed of 142 km/h. He sure came across as a threat to the Indian team as he took wickets, back to back.

Towards the end of the match, he showcased what a fighter he is. Despite being in pain due to cramps, he didn’t give up and bowled his last over.
I just have to stand & applaud this young man’s efforts. PAK were defending just 148 & Naseem Shah, with his 2/27, gave it his 150% to keep PAK in the contest on debut in a high-profile clash. He showed immense courage fighting cramps – respect ❤️ #Naseem_shah #PCBJawabDo pic.twitter.com/9I7iaMTYBF

My heart goes for Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf who bowled death overs even when they had cramp in their legs. They deserve appreciation. Respect from other side of border. pic.twitter.com/NgxQncdtlo

Watching Naseem Shah run in and bowl with cramp was like watching Steve Austin, his face covered in blood, pass out in the sharpshooter. And like Austin, this feels like a huge launching point in his career. Amazing performance from a young man with the heart of a lion! #INDvsPAK pic.twitter.com/oDKrv0nA04

As we celebrate Hardik Pandya, which we should, doff your hats for Naseem Shah, for that effort put in despite cramps. Literally cranking it up at 142 clicks with one leg.#INDvsPAK

Though I am an Indian, I loved seeing #nasimshah bowling today. Hope he grows more to the likes of @shoaib100mph and @wasimakramlive #INDvsPAK #AsiaCup

Thankfully, he’s all hail and hearty and would be fit enough to play in their next match.
Update: Nothing to worry about, Naseem Shah felt cramps due to extreme heat & dehydration. PCB's medical panel is monitoring him very closely & it's highly likely that he'll be available for the upcoming games of Asia Cup while he may rest vs HK #INDvsPAK #PCBJawabDo #AsiaCup2022 pic.twitter.com/CxBhwWDcAA
