Mumbai is yet again under the spell of heavy showers and gloomy weather. The city that never sleeps has come to a standstill as flooded roads and overflowing manholes restrict mobility to a great extent. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an ‘orange alert’ till September 5 indicating chance of extreme weather conditions in the vicinity that might lead to the closure of transport facilities and disturbances in power supply.
