In another soul-shattering incident, three unidentified abducted a Mumbai college student in a car and raped her in a secluded place before throwing her out of the vehicle.
According to reports, the incident happened near Charkop in North Mumbai. But will you believe if I tell you that this heinous crime isn’t the worst detail of all?
The victim has alleged that she was taken without her will and was tortured at the tune of,
“We asked you to stay away from him.”
It’s not yet clear who the ‘him’ is but a case has been registered under sections 376 (punishment for rape) of the Indian Penal Code against the miscreants after the girl braved all and made it to the Charkop police station with a friend.
An investigating officer said,Â
“The woman said she took an autorickshaw back home.”
The police are also checking the CCTV footage along the route which the woman said they took.
But in which man’s land is it to okay to rape and violate the modesty of a woman because of hurt egos? What have we become?
