People love MS Dhoni for reasons more than one! He is not just a phenomenal cricketer but a humble human being and an ardent patriot and he has proved it time and again.
Taking a two-month break from cricket, Lt. Col Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to serve the country with his106 TA Battalion (Para) and complete his army training. He is posted in Kashmir until 15 August. Pictures from Dhoni’s service at the border keep surfacing on social media ever since he has joined his regiment.
From spending time with fellow soldiers to playing volleyball with them, pictures of Dhoni from posting with the army are going viral on social media. Recently, a video of him singing the song “Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hu” from movie Kabhie Kabhie surfaced and is spreading like wildfire on the internet. Dhoni is seen donning the army uniform as he sings for his battalion in the video.

The former Indian cricket team captain decided to skip India’s tour of West Indies and joined his regiment in Kashmir on 30 July. He will be carrying out his duties of patrolling, guard duty, etc with the rest of his battalion.
