Remember when every place you looked (online and off) was filled and inscribed with news of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli ‘reportedly’ getting married in Italy? And subsequently when all of ‘rumours‘ (they were quite a number) purposely came true with breath-taking pictures from even beautiful Tuscany? Also how the entire world lost their collective calm in the aftermath?
Well, if you’re wondering I’m still hungover from the Virushka wedding (the answer to that is yes), let me tell you…I’m reminiscing because another rumour of the sort is making headlines and I have a lot to lose if the pattern comes true again! In fact, I have a feeling you’re going to feel my pain (I’m talking to you gals)!
According to DNA, Milind Soman aka our national treasure is apparently all set to marry his 26-year-old GF, Ankita Konwar in 2018!
You heard that right! While every other report carrying the headline about this supposed marriage ends with a question mark, I’m reminded of a very popular adage that goes ‘there’s no smoke without fire.’
While that is extremely excruciating to even imagine for me and other like-minded (hearted, if you know what I mean) people, there is no greater joy than unconditional love culminating into marriage and life-long commitment. In fact, in case of Soman, it only goes to show the character he his made of.
I mean he didn’t get the judgments and trolling get to him. In fact, he recently stood by his love and told Indian Express that he keeps all the negativity at bay.Â
“I don’t really bother about it all. The people who talk about it don’t really know us, so it’s actually amusing.”
If this isn’t true love, then what is?
