The entire nation was in shock and grief when the news of legendary actor Sridevi’s death came to the fore. What began as disbelief later translated into pain and anguish as the entire film fraternity took to social media to pay their homage to the iconic star.
But it wasn’t just the celebrities who felt the sadness of her untimely and unfortunate death. Several fans and supporters thronged unto the roads and queued in front of her house in Mumbai to offer their condolences.
Amongst all, there was a visually impaired man from U.P who camped outside Sri’s house for two days. He did so out of respect as the superstar had once given a new lease of life to his brother. He told ANI,Â

The man, identified as Jatin Valmiki, had reportedly met Sridevi at an event where he told her about his brother’s illness.
Although he will not be able to repay her and her generosity, the least he could do is bid her a final goodbye.Â
Unki wajah se mera bhai aaj zinda hai. Main kuch nahi kar sakta unke (Sridevi) liye, lekin main kam se kam unki antim yatra mein toh shaamil ho hi sakta hoon: Jatin Valmiki, a visually impaired man from Uttar Pradesh who has been waiting outside #Sridevi's house. pic.twitter.com/uXnU74B6Bn

This just goes to prove that Sridevi was not only beautiful from outside but from inside too. Hope you are at a better place, Sridevi ji. You shall live in our memories.
