In an incident that took place in the Inder Puri area of West Delhi, the residents became witness to a dramatic episode when the Delhi Police came to arrest a man responsible for more than a dozen crimes.
Unfortunately for Virendra, the fraudster, he was wearing nothing but a towel when the police reached the spot. In his bid to escape the catch, he made a desperate attempt to escape by sliding down from the terrace.
As Virendra tried to come down with the help of the window AC beneath him, the entire video was caught on a CCTV camera placed in the locality.
Finally, when Virendra decided to make a jump down, his towel slipped off. He was then dragged through the locality naked while his wife and sister ran behind with his clothes.
However, Virendra’s wife Anjana has claimed that his husband was not given the time to wear his clothes by the Delhi Police despite several requests. She also stated that the police took a longer route to take him to the police station.
Speaking about the same to TOI, DCP (west) Vijay Kumar said that the guilty was offered his clothes but he refused to take them. He added that the police wasted no further time in the fear that his family would cause disruption.

If the allegation of the family is true, action should be taken against the Delhi police officials for denying modesty to a person, irrespective of his crimes. While the truth is yet to be revealed, we would leave it to you to judge the situation.
