1. Madhuri Dixit shot the pilot for an episode of a series called ‘Bombay Hai Meri’ but sadly it never aired on TV as Doordarshan didn’t find the show and the cast ‘good enough’.

5. The serial was supposed to be directly by Anil Tejani, gifted director who is an alumnus of the reputed Film and Television Institute of India (FTII)

7. After the show was turned down from being aired, Madhuri got the offer for an offbeat role and then was introduced in Rajshri Productions’ Abodh (1984).
Guess who missed out on working with the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit? Bad luck Doordarshan.
