Tamil Nadu Bride Gets Life-Like Statue Of Dad Who Passed Away As A Wedding Gift

There have been many instances in the past, where people have bought life-sized statues of their loved ones to mark their presence post their demise. For instance, a man from Karnataka installed a life-sized statue of his wife who passed away in a road accident, and another loving husband also did the same for his late wife, 30 days after her demise.

Recently, Tamil Nadu’s Lakshmi Prabha was grieving the loss of her father while her wedding arrangements were being made. She had lost him a couple of years ago. Seeing how much she missed him, her elder sister Bhuvaneshwari gifted her a life-like statue of him as a token of gift.

As per a report in The Hindu, Bhuvaneshwari spent a lot of time and money on the waxwork gift so that it could replicate reality in all its essence. She said, “It costs around 6 lakhs but we can see a smile in our sister’s face.”

In an emotional moment, the couple was captured bowing down to touch the father’s feet to seek his blessings and commemorated the life-sized statue, leaving all the onlooking guests moved.
