TV Show ‘Khichdi’ Is All Set To Make A Comeback And We Abso-F**king-Lutely Can’t Keep Calm

It’s like 2000s all over again, and we are simply loving every bit of it. After Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Shararat and Hum Paanch comeback news sent us to la-la-land, we hear that Hansa-Praful-Kukkad Kumar Babuji-Jayshree are likely to be back as a web series. Khabhar mein toh, ekdum best khabhar hain mere paas, Jayshree style! ?

At a Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Take 2 press event, producer JD Majethia was asked that after Sarabhai, is there any chance of Khichdi making a comeback? Hinting at a possibility, he said YES!

“Yes, there’s something going on at the back end bit, I won’t divulge any more details now. We will let you know soon.”

Ummammaa! That means we are soon going to see the Parekh parivar‘s wacky side once again.

 

Not only that, JD also said why they really, really wanted Sarabhai back.

“We were missing the show, but it eventually became so big after it went off air but before creating it again, we wanted to be sure that we could recreate Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai magic again.”

 

And how can Indravadan Sarabhai not add anything to that? Satish Shah said,

“It didn’t bother us when how and where, we just wanted to come together for Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.”

While there’s still time for some Khichdi to be back on the small screen or the laptop screen, we would be tripping on the Sarabhais from May 16, onwards.

Haaye, haaye! This news toh made my day. Waiting for Hansa to go all, Praafulll!
