Online Educator Khan Sir Doesn’t Have A Sister, But 7,000 Students Tie Rakhis On Him This Year

In our country, ‘Khan Sir’ could mean many things. It could be Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, or Aamir Khan. But when somebody mentions ‘Khan Sir’, our thoughts immediately go to one person who is very popular on the internet, and that is Faisal Khan.

Faisal Khan gained fame and popularity for providing free education to students preparing for various competitive exams in India, like the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Based in Patna, Bihar, he is known for his free educational lessons on YouTube and other social media platforms. His YouTube channel, specifically, is many students’ go-to space for learning. He has a unique teaching style where he explains even the most complex topics in a simple manner.

Hence, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, innumerable female students tied him rakhis. When I say ‘innumerable’, I literally mean 7,000 students!

That’s right. According to India Today, 7,000 students tied Khan Sir rakhis on Raksha Bandhan. He had organized a Rakha Bandhan event at his coaching centre which was attended by approximately 10,000 students. He claims this is a world record.

In an interview, Khan Sir revealed that he doesn’t have a sister of his own and therefore, considers his female students as his sisters. At the end of the two-and-a-half-hour-long event, he found it difficult to lift his hand because of the rakhis!
