Killed And Disfigured Kashmiri Cop’s FB Poem About Night In A Grave Will Shatter Your Soul

Kashmiri-Cop

When will there be peace in Kashmir?

Asks every Kashmiri, and it’s soul-crushing to know there’s not a definitive answer to that. In another heart-breaking ambush in Kashmir, six cops were gunned down at point-blank range and their faces were left disfigured by the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba group. The barbaric incident has sent everyone in a state of shock and people are mourning the deaths of the officers. But amid the lament, a Facebook post by a 32-year-old officer, who lost his life, is haunting the valleys of Achabal (Anantnag district).

Officer Feroz Ahmed Dar‘s first night in the grave was a day when people were reminded of a poem he had written 53 months ago. It was a plaintive piece about how his first night in the grave would be and it’s breaking our hearts. More so, because it strikes a chord that is already painful.

“Did you ever stop for a while and asked yourself,
What is going to happen to me the first night in my grave ?
Think about the moment your body is being washed and prepared to your grave
Think about the day people will be carrying you to your grave
And your families crying …think about the moment you are put in your grave
Just imagine …yourself in your grave
Down there in that dark hole
Alone
Its too Dark you cry for help
But………
It is too narrow your bones are squashed
You regret missing 5 prayers, you regret listening music, you regret not wearing Hijab
You regret ignoring Allah ‘s orders
But no ESCAPE ……
You alone with your deeds
No money, no jewelries, Only your deeds
May Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) protect us all from the punishment of the grave. Ameen”

Hailing from Pulwama district’s Dogripora village, Feroz was called ‘Dabangg’ by his friends and he was a one-man army. He is survived by his wife, parents, and two daughters — Addah (6) and Simran (2) — whose pictures he often uploaded on his Facebook account.

The unfortunate event took place on Friday night, when about 10-15 Lashkar terrorists ambushed Achabal, South Kashmir, and left their inhuman trace in form of slain police officers.

Our hearts go out every officer’s family and our condolences are with them.
