When was the last time Kangana Ranaut shied away from speaking her mind? Well, we don’t remember and even don’t want to. We love her veracity. When news flew in about the sexual harassment allegation against ‘Phantom’ man Vikas Bahl, it left everyone shocked. Naturally, Kangana was asked to comment on the same as Vikas had directed her hit-maker, ‘Queen’.
Without taking anyone’s side, Kangana lauded for the victim’s courage to have come forward and spoken about the issue.
“It’s a very serious issue. I can only say that it is very courageous of a woman to come out and speak about sexual harassment. It’s not regarding this particular event, because I am not the party involved, but generally speaking, women who face this should be encouraged to talk about it by their families and their colleagues without feeling ashamed about it.”
Our ‘Queen’ also said that people should come forward more often, speak up and discuss. She added,

“More women should come out and talk about whatever they feel because that’s how there will be awareness about these issues and of course, there will always be another side of the story as well and then there will be the authorities, who can decide what is the right thing to do. But people should speak up about whatever they feel, whether they are right or wrong, they must speak up and discuss.”
This is not the first sexual harassment story that has come to light recently. Many victims came forward and spoke up against TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, who was booked by Mumbai Police for molestation. And, then there’s a whole dirty picture of Bollywood’s casting couch and stings that have over the past shown us the de-glam side of Bollywood.
Amid that, Kangana’s words of encouragement for the victim do sound sensible and surely would leave a mark.
