HP’s Lucius Malfoy Ate At A Restaurant Run By Acid Attack Survivors In Agra And Loved It

If I was ever asked to name a few characters I really dislike in the Harry Potter books, Lucius Malfoy would probably make number 3 on the list for he was mean to Dobby, Harry, Dumbledore, Hermoine, Weasleys…. in a nutshell, he was mean to whoever he met. But turns out, this is going to change forever.

Jason Issacs, the British actor who played Lucius Malfoy (Draco’s father) visited India with family.

Jason visited a restaurant called ‘Sheroes Hangout’ which is entirely run by acid attack survivors. And he couldn’t stop himself from praising the ladies for the great work they’ve been doing.

Jason Issacs was visiting the Taj Mahal with his wife and two daughters in Agra when they decided to eat at this restaurant. The family ordered a whole Indian meal consisting of dal, chapatti, aloo gobhi, pyaj ke pakode and veg biryani.

The Isaacs sat patiently at the restaurant spending time with each other. They came by an auto rickshaw and no one recognised them initially. He talked to the ladies on the staff for quite sometime. One of the staff members Ritu says,

“We didn’t know who they were. They were welcomed by our team and escorted to their seat.

Isaacs said they were quite hungry as they had not eaten anything since morning. They told us that they had come here right after visiting the Taj Mahal.”

When someone recognised him, he happily went ahead and clicked pictures with all the women and promised them each a Harry Potter book!

Next day, the humble Jason came bearing books for the whole staff. Overwhelmed, they couldn’t help but praise Mr. Issac for being kind, humble and more so, for keeping his promise. Ritu said,

“All the while that they were here, they did not tell us who they were. They absolutely had no airs about them. They were very humble and down to earth.”

Lucius Malfoy, you suddenly ended up in my good books. You aren’t made of evil at all!
