Jackie Chan Finally Wins An Oscar After Doing Over 200 Films In His 56 Years Career

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan is a name that needs no introduction. After, over five decades in the showbiz, the 62-year old Chinese actor is still every bit ‘Chantastic’. However, inspite of performing in over 200 movies, attempting bone-breaking stunts and fracturing a few at that, the martial arts legend has had no luck with Oscars. Up until now!

The action and comedy star has finally won an honorary Oscar, Hollywood’s much-acclaimed golden statuette at the eighth annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles.

“After 56 years in the film industry, making more than 200 films, after so many bones, finally.”

Jackie also confessed, that his parents often asked him why he didn’t get the accolade after the kind of contribution he has given to the craft.

Jackie received the award from fellow stunt star, Slyvester Stallone at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center.
