After Battling Cancer, Irrfan Khan Thanks Fans For Their Support In Heartfelt Note

Irrfan Khan took the nation by shock as he was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in March last year. The Kawaan actor soon left to London for his treatment. Ever since his fans and well-wishers have been showering prayers and wishes for the actor’s speedy recovery.

During his treatment, he had made several trips to India but covered his face every time paparazzi tried to snap him at the airport.

Exactly after a year of cancer diagnosis, the star arrived at the Mumbai airport once again on Tuesday but this time he wasn’t avoiding the photographers. Also, he looked hale and hearty, giving fans a sigh of relief.

Just after a day of his arrival back home, Irrfan shared a radiant picture of himself with a heartfelt note for his well-wishers.

“Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart,” he wrote.

Before leaving to London last year, he had announced that he was diagnosed with cancer on social media. Irrfan and his wife have done their best to keep his fans updated about his health for the entire year.

Irrfan is also rumoured to make a grand comeback in films with Dinesh Vijan’s Hindi Medium 2. We sincerely hope that all goes well for the actor and we get to see him on the silver screen soon.
