The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) chief Krishna Choudhary announced that 1/3rd of the border force will consist of women officers.
Not only that, the ITBP will be recruiting women officers in supervisory officers rank for leading the battalions in extreme tough conditions of China and Sikkim.
Surely, the landscape of India for women is changing for the better. Yes, there’s nothing that men can do that women can’t.
Also, there will be 40 more border posts and 12 camps in Arunachal Pradesh to make the life of the officers serving the nation easier.
..and deploy three more battalions or in other words, 3000 more officers will guard India in the Naxalite belt by the end of next year.
Undoubtedly, this is a welcome decision and this will certainly give the women of the Indian Police Force, a huge boost. 🙂
