IIT-Bombay Student Caught Filming Woman Bathing, Neighbours Nabbed Him While Fleeing

Every day, to our disgust, we come across news concerning perverts who find it amusing to film people, especially women, during intimate and personal moments. More often than not, they then use the footage to blackmail the victim for money, or even worse, to shamelessly force the victim to get into bed with them.

A similar case from Thane has been reported where a 34-year-old student of the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay was arrested for allegedly filming people bathing.

A complaint was filed against Avinash Kumar Yadav at Kapurbawdi police station who is allegedly guilty of filming a woman with his mobile phone while she was bathing.

The woman found the phone on the bathroom window while she was bathing and immediately alerted her husband who then confiscated Yadav’s phone.

The accused was seen fleeing from the spot and was caught by residents of the area.

Sources reveal that the phone had several other videos of both men and women bathing, mostly residents of the same building.

Yadav is now charged under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code which dictates that anybody who assaults or uses criminal forces against any woman thereby outraging her modesty will be punished with imprisonment, fine, or both.

People like him should never be spared. What a shameful act!
