Tears.
The act which haunts your nightmares is crying. You just cannot fathom the urge to cry and your eyes are rarely moist with the emotions that pour out of everybody’s eyes called tears. You don’t understand why but you just cannot tear up however hard you try. Are you that person?
Then you’ll definitely relate to these struggles of being a person who people think has lost touch with himself/herself.
1. You’ve been called a mean, heartless robot one too many times.
2. You feel awkward when everyone else is crying during a movie and you’re as dry as a dessert.
3. You’ve been told that you don’t understand anything. But in actuality, you understand just right.
4. Saying goodbye to someone is a taxing event, for you risk losing that person due to your lack of emotional display.
5. Anger is your substitute to express feelings similar to crying.
6. You’re jealous of people who can cry at the drop of a hat.
7. When you do cry, you prefer it to be a private event.
8. Crying in front of people is weird because they look at you like you’re the 8th wonder of the world.
9. People don’t tell you things because they assume they won’t receive a favourable emotional reaction from you.
10. Being in a relationship without hurting your love interest’s feelings by not crying is difficult.
11. Comforting crying people is not your cup of tea and you get tense every time someone tries to hug you.
12. Your friends tell every one of your “condition” introducing you with nicknames like the Ice Queen.
13. People show interest in knowing how many times you’ve cried in your life and sadly the number can be easily counted off your fingers.
14. If you’re a woman who doesn’t cry, it becomes worse.
