It has been a month since the news of conviction of former Dera Sacha Sauda Chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan, was out. Ever since then, people are unearthing each chapter of the Dera exposé being conducted by the media. The old skeletons are being dug out (quite literally) and the Ram Rahim saga is getting murkier and gorier.
After the shocking revelation that Ram Rahim had sexual relations with his “adopted” daughter Honeypreet Singh Insaan, people were gaping at the mere thought of it. Then, the details got even more shocking when Honeypreet’s husband had horrific instances to cite.
Now, in another disturbing news, according to a former Dera follower, Honeypreet too was raped by the sex addict Pitaji. According to an India Today report,
“Many former Dera followers believe that before Honeypreet became a constant companion of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, she was raped inside his gufa, Dera chief’s private chamber.”
Ram Rahim’s former driver’s son, Gurdas Singh told India Today,
“Honeypreet was upset and had straightway gone to meet her grandfather who worked as a cashier at the Dera. He was annoyed and slammed the Dera chief. However, he was silenced by Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s goons.”
It was also said Honeypreet blackmailed Ram Rahim and got favours exchanged in things she needed. Later, she became Baba’s companion and an accomplice in many of his wrong-doings.
CBI witness and former Dera follower, Gurdas Singh Toor, said that Gurmeet and Honeypreet had a secret succession plan for the Sirsa-based sect as they wanted to have a child together. They wanted a son to succeed and become the next Dera Chief. Honeypreet even contested the claim of Jasmeet Singh, Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s biological son, becoming the next Dera chief.
Honeypreet has done a lot of wrongs with Baba, right now is absconding. Another perturbing detail of Ram Rahim has seen the light of the day. In addition to the sadhvis, Ram Rahim also started fancying models and actresses.
In another India Today report, a relative of Baba, Bhupinder Singh Gora, disclosed that Honeypreet used to arrange for high-profile models and actresses for Baba. Either they would come to the Dera or Ram Rahim would move to Mumbai for 20-25 days.
He even divulged that Baba used to openly talk about naked sex with sadhvis.
“He would openly talk about naked sex workers in the presence of lakhs of female followers.”
Plus, Gurmeet never met the same woman twice in his cave. He used to avoid meeting them and kept a tab on the meeting requests he received. He would have his staff say that he was meditating or praying when the truth is he’s never touched a religious book or meditated.
This is twisted on so many levels, we can’t even point out what’s more convulsed. All this has happened inside the Dera for years and people still worshipped this self-styled Godman. Sickening!
