I saw myself yesterday, I say myself today and I can bet I’m ageing. Thanks to the toxic lifestyle we lead, it is our poor health and skin that takes the fall. Meet 72-year-old Carolyn Hartz from Perth, Australia who looks nothing like her age. Reason? She ditched sugar 30 years ago and has never looked back. 

Yes, that’s her. According to reports, she stopped eating anything sweet after a pre-diabetes diagnosis when she was 40.

 

Carolyn, who is a grandmother to four lovely grandkids, credits her approach towards life (read: half-glass full) apart from the fact that she has ditched sugar for health.

“We know our metabolism slows down as we get older it just means we have to take control and make healthier choices and work a little harder.

I believe it is very important to be aware of the type of food you eat and the quantity of food you eat.”

 

She manages her cravings by using a supplementary sweetener, a substitute which is completely natural. And Voila! 

Honestly, I’ll consider myself lucky if I look half as good as she looks (if I survive that long, that is)!
